Rob Reeder Toyota Supra GR Mk5

This is a 2022 Toyota Supra GR 3.0. Rob has owned many cars in the past and had a previous build going on his Volkswagen Jetta GLI. He had hit his ceiling between power and cost and used his soft spot for German engineering to put a little bit of thought into getting the BMW B58-powered Toyota Supra, a motor that’s seen in cars like the BMW M340i xDrive. Reeder hadn’t put much thought into the Mk5 Supra until he passed another black Supra owned by a friend on Instagram. Eventually, he fell in love with the body and drivetrain of these cars and had to have one for himself. It was then that Reeder found this current ride at Firelands Toyota in Sandusky, Ohio, where he bought the car new.

This JDM badge is powered by the German B58 motor. This car is awfully quick, with a 3.9-second 0-60 mph time, 382 HP to the rear wheels, and an automatic transmission. He currently has the car on a JB4 tune. There are some performance modifications made to this car. An FTP intake has been added along with an Armytrix downpipe, and it has help from his Burger Tuning oil filter housing. The suspension has been modified with H&R lowering springs, which are supported by a Tanabe strut tower brace.

This RWD beast is painted in Nocturnal black paint and has an installed LED underglow kit. This car has luxurious carbon fiber that shines stunningly in the sun. It features a Seibon carbon fiber spoiler, carbon fiber mirror caps, a custom carbon fiber/perforated leather steering wheel, and finally, carbon fiber paddle shifters. It has some non-CF modifications as well, such as a Maxton Design front lip, A90 shop hood vents, AWE wind buffers, and G2 yellow painted calipers.

Reeder has gone to many local shows with this car and has met an incredible number of Supra owners across many ages and generations of the Supra badge. He plans to swap in a larger turbocharger and run E85 in hopes of hitting the 650 HP mark.
